I loved discovering a new culture and language. I was able to meet new people and forge unforgettable links with some extraordinary people. I was able to develop my independence, my communication skills as well as my English and Spanish. My program manager and the local team were very helpful and highly responsive to any questions or doubts I might have had.

I fell in love with the city, felt like I was apart of my host family and the people at my internship was incredibly welcoming, kind and willing to teach. My internship with IAHQ gave me experience with task relevant for my degree that I wouldn't have been able to get at my own university. I've gained insight to a different career path than the obvious one for my degree, and it's a path I could possibly see my self taking. Overall the whole experience inspired me to move to the city after my graduation!

During my internship with Intern Abroad HQ I discovered the charm of private art collecting and selling, including doing the marketing for the works and having conversations with people. I now have clearer career goals and a better view of marketing work, which will be helpful to my future career.
