Great time with all my peers. Wether it be hiking through the mountains hunting for views that could make a grown man cry or walking around Japan hunting for achievements and collectibles in different places. The program was great for it all. I recommend it to anyone who wants to experience what it’s like living and working in Japan. Great time and I can’t wait to visit again.
Tokyo internship experience review

The community coordinators were very kind and welcoming to the interns and were always there to provide us with advice and lend us a listening ear if we ever needed one. The coordinators were very open to suggestions in terms of community events which was great, they made sure everyone would be included and always felt safe (shout out to Olivia and Stephanie <3) The Beyond team was very efficient at securing an interview for a potential host company and provided me with many resources in order to prepare me for the interview. This was my first ever “big” interview and with their advice, I was able to secure a position at the first company found!

My community coordinator was always very responsive and happy to move the schedule to fit our needs. The company that I interned with allowed me to learn a lot and grow professionally. The accommodation allowed me to connect with like-minded people from all around the world, which was a very cool experience. All around I had an amazing time and would recommend this program to anyone looking to expand their horizons and grow.

The role of community coordinator is about helping younger people find their own pathway. It feels great when I see how we impact someone's experience and make it even greater.
