“This project fulfilled all my expectations and more. You are surrounded by many great people from around the world while volunteering who are all doing different projects. I started this project with a limited medical background. From the start of this project i always felt welcomed and experience never became an issue. I was doing so many things on the medical project, from cleaning and dressing wounds, weighing babies, sorting pain medication to teaching locals how to lift properly! All I can really say is If you have an interest in medicine, nursing etc this project is amazing to take part in. I would do it again in a heartbeat!”

Being able to go out into the bush and see all the amazing animals whilst doing research to help sustain these species is and experience I will never forget. All the guides all always there to teach you about not only the big five but, insects birds and trees, they love the challenge of answering the hard questions and the love for the job is infectious and makes every drive more exciting, meeting all the staff and other volunteers from around the world is an incredible experience and I am so sad to be going home and will always miss my Dumela family...”
